Tomek Bagiński

Director, screenwriter, and producer. Creator of internationally acclaimed animated films. Recipient of an Oscar nomination for the film*The Cathedral*(2002) and a BAFTA Award for the film*The Art of Falling*(2005). 

For years, he has been working on film, TV series, and advertising projects. These have included visualizations for Krzysztof Penderecki’s anniversary concert*The Seven Gates of Jerusalem*(2009, Emmy Award nomination), *An Animated History of Poland*—a 3D film created for the EXPO 2011 world’s fair, the film*Ambition*produced for the European Space Agency, and the highly acclaimed series*Polish Legends*produced for Allegro.

Since 2018, he has been working as a creative producer on the global hit*The Witcher*,produced for Netflix. He also has two seasons of the series*Direction: Night*under his belt, produced for the same platform, and, as a director, the feature film*Knights of the Zodiac*starring Mackenyu Arata and Sean Bean for Sony Pictures, which premiered in 2023. He is currently involved in several projects at Dukaj Games, most notably the video game adaptation of *The Cathedral*. He also remains a shareholder and collaborator at the animation and VFX studio Platige Image.
