Director of animated films (“Kajko and Kokosz,” “Kicia Kocia”), author of books on film studies (“Lost Souls—American Exploitation Films 1929–59,” “Naked and Torn Apart: American Exploitation Films 1960–90”), holder of a postdoctoral degree, professor at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology and the National Film, Television, and Theater School in Łódź.
