Andrzej Dragan

Andrzej Dragan is a professor of physics at the University of Warsaw and the National University of Singapore. He leads a research group focused on integrating the theory of relativity with quantum theory. He is the recipient of scientific awards from the European Science Foundation, the Minister of Education, the Polish Science Foundation, the National Science Center, and the weekly magazine “Polityka.” A fellow at the University of Oxford, he has worked at Imperial College London and the University of Nottingham. He is the author of two books and 60 scientific articles.

Winner of the Photographer of the Year award from the British magazine *Digital Camera*, and a nominee for the Golden Lion at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. Creator of photographs and short films for Netflix, HBO, Channel 4, Sky TV, PlayStation, Converse, Energizer, and Xbox. Creator of the “Dragan Effect” in photography, and author of exhibitions in Milan, London, Paris, Amsterdam, New York, and Tokyo. Winner of the Grand Prize at the London Fashion Film Festival, “Best in Show” at the British “Creative Review,” a finalist at Berlin Commercial, and recipient of awards at the Golden Drum, Epica Awards, Corbis Awards, and Photo Masters Cup London.

Director of music videos for Quebonafide, Behemoth, and Hani Rani. As a teenager, he won awards in electronic music competitions. He has never drunk coffee.
