Graphics / Interior Design
The Department of New Media Arts invites you to the next preparatory course in drawing, painting and art history for applicants to study graphic design and interior design. Candidates can also take advantage of annual preparatory courses for Polish and English-language studies (more information).
The series of workshops and lectures includes:
- Testing drawing and painting skills and spatial thinking (workshop)
- Practical exercises in drawing and painting (model, nude, perspective, composition, still life) (workshop)
- Selected issues in art history (seminar)
The classes are taught by assistants of the Drawing and Painting Studio and lecturers of Art History from the PJATK New Media Art Department.
The course includes 16 meetings of 4 lessons each (45 minutes)
- Drawing 7×4 lesson hours - a total of 28 x 45 minutes (exercises)
- Painting 7×4 lesson hours - a total of 28 x 45 minutes (exercises)
- History of art 2×4 lessons - 8×45 minutes (lectures)
The Course will be conducted stationary with all sanitary rigors.
In the event, a change in the law prohibiting the conduct of classes in stationary mode, classes will be conducted online, in combination with individual stationary consultations (hybrid teaching). The amount of payment from the Course remains the same regardless of the form of classes (stationary, hybrid, on-line).
In the event of cancellation of the Course due to national regulations or as a result of force majeure, participants are not entitled to compensation for the cancellation. In this case, the amount from the Course will be refunded in proportion to the number of classes held.
Schedule of meetings:
Start of classes on February 15, 2022 (Tuesday), classes from 17:00 to 20:00, ending on April 6, 2022 (Wednesday).
Painting, Tuesday, 5pm-8pm
Drawing, Wednesday, 5 pm - 8 pm
History of Art, 5:00-8:00 pm (classes on Tuesday and/or Wednesday)
Building C, painting room
Cost of the course: 1600PLN
You should bring with you to the course:
For painting: min. 3 brushes (flat, with different widths - 0.5 cm, 1 cm and 3 cm), paints - preferably acrylic (basic set of colors - min. 5 colors).
For the drawing: pencils, breadboard and regular eraser, paper clips to fix the boxes.
