Jakub Pękalski

Machine Learning methods in Real Time Bidding

Jakub Pękalski, director of Research and Data Engineering at Wirtualna Polska Holding, has a PhD in chemistry, a master's degree in mathematics and physics, and is a graduate of Warsaw University. At Wirtualna Polska, he is involved in implementing artificial intelligence methods in advertising, publishing and postal products.

Prior to joining WP, he was an employee of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Princeton University and the Polish-Japanese Academy of Computer Technology. He has co-authored more than a dozen scientific articles in international journals. He has led research projects focused on the development of simulation algorithms and the application of neural networks to the recognition of three-dimensional objects. Outside Poland, he has gained experience in scientific projects in Spain, the United States and Belarus.
